The Moscow Kremlin, the main attraction in Russia, is a beautiful fortress in the heart of the city. The Kremlin is full of history. It used to be a residence of Russian tsars and communist leaders and now it’s the primary working place of the president of Russia. Behind the walls, you will discover the oldest square of Moscow and amazing cathedrals where Russian rulers were married, crowned and buried.
The Kremlin, the largest functioning castle in Europe, exhibits an architectural style that incorporates influences from a mix of medieval history, Orthodox religion, Tsars and Soviet heritage.
There are beautiful sites nearby- Alexander Garden, adjacent to the Kremlin; it’s one of the first public parks in Moscow. Manege Square, also known as Manezhnaya Square, features a four-story, underground shopping mall topped with a glass cupola.
